Rev. Christy Barto

Pastor Christy came to us following our 2016 Annual Conference. She is a Fort Worth native and attended seminary at Texas Christian University’s Brite Divinity School. Christy is married to Brian and together they have three daughters, Bayley, Lilly, and Monica. Bayley is a Sophomore clarinet player in the Fighting Texas Aggie Band of Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and Lilly and Monica are having a blast tumbling and getting ready for cheer and the MMISD Drill Team! Pastor Christy and her family enjoy catching live plays, playing games and vacationing to new places each summer.

A note from Pastor Christy:

“Hey there, friends! Pastor Christy here and I would like for you to know that we at Morgan Mill UMC are committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are excited about what God is doing in the world and are eager to share the love of Christ with everyone we meet. I would like to personally invite you to join us this, and every, Sunday as we learn, grow in faith and step out in service together. See you soon!”

Ministry Intern

Victoria Lindsey

Victoria is a sophmore at Tarleton State University and actually JUST changed her major to social work, so there is a little surprise for y'all! People are her passion and she can't wait to meet, care for and educate as many as possible. She's excited to serve, learn more about the church and dig deeper into the word of God here at Morgan Mill UMC and she invites you to serve, learn and dig with her. Come on out!

Victoria was born in Dallas, Texas, but as a result of being what she calls a "Navy brat," has lived in many other places as well: Virginia, Tennessee and Guam to name a few. Nowadays Victoria lives right here in Erath County where she spends a good portion of her time at her home away from home, the Tarleton Wesley Foundation. This year she is serving as the Events Team Leader and as a member of the worship team! Turns out all those years of "shower singing" have paid off in an awesome way, one that helps to unite a community of faith together. Praise God and Go Texans!
